Ofsted is responsible for carrying out inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, the results of which are published on their website. Part of their responsibilities in relation to Early Years and Childcare, is to ensure provisions are implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage. The aim of all this work is to promote improvement and value for money in the services they inspect and regulate, so that children and young people, parents and carers, adult learners and employers benefit.
